About Us
Sautu Solutions
We are an indigenous-owned and locally incorporated consultancy firm, operating out of Suva. We deliver analytical, advisory and research services on macroeconomic, financial sector development, and policy-related issues. Increasingly, our work has expanded to facilitating organizational planning and stakeholder consultation for clients serving indigenous resource owners; faith and community-based organizations and networks; and both grassroot and organizational advocacy and lobby groups.
We have served government, statutory body, private sector and civil society organization clients operating out of Fiji, Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea that support partners across the region, including Solomon Islands, Tonga and West Papua
Who We Are
We - Duri Buadromo and Lanieta Rauqeuqe - are co-founders of Sautu Solutions. Between us, we have a combined working experience covering several sectors of over 50 years. We have worked in Fiji, the Pacific region and at the multilateral institution level.
While running Sautu Solutions, we also serve as Board Directors for Sole, a fintech start-up company; a public sector agency board and volunteer for several charitable trusts.
A Land Management graduate, Duri’s career spans the telecommunications, banking and petroleum oil industries, and financial sector development. She previously led teams within the Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF) and the Capital Markets Development Authority (Fiji). With more than 30 years of experience, Duri’s expertise and strong institutional background provides a firm foundation for Sautu Solutions’ deliverables and engagement.
Lanieta holds masters' degrees in both International and Development Economics and Diplomacy. She is an economist with more than 20 years of experience at the RBF and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington DC and Resident Representative Office in Suva. She served in senior roles and contributed to policy analysis, advice and research, risk management and compliance, strategic planning and communication, stakeholder engagement and external relations.
